Mark is the Materials Processing Institute’s leader on innovation and technology support to accelerate the transition to greener iron, steel and other bulk metals. He developed the Institute’s hydrogen, decarbonisation and circular economy strategies and teams, including leading the foundational work for a hydrogen ironmaking demonstrator. Mark has degrees from the Universities of Nottingham and Loughborough, and has a professional background encompassing innovation and change in materials, energy and communities from hands-on lab work to CEO.
