Matthew Houlsby

Matthew leads Madano’s Net-Zero Practice, working with high-profile, innovative, low-carbon clients, building their profiles with investors, government, and the general public. He has a particular focus on the decarbonisation of the energy and aviation sectors. Matthew spent twelve years as a civil servant and diplomat at the UK Foreign Office, working at the heart of Whitehall on issues from the UK’s trade policy to multilateral diplomacy at the UN, and the UK’s relationship with Russia, and was Press Secretary to three successive Foreign Secretaries.
