Oleksiy Tatarenko is a Senior Principal in the Climate-Aligned Industries Program at Rocky Mountain Institute. He leads the hydrogen initiative and the Green Hydrogen Catapult, a coalition of green hydrogen market leaders convened by RMI and UN High-Level Climate Champions to promote the aggressive global adoption of green hydrogen at the scale needed to achieve a 1.5°C future. He previously served as the Deputy Country Chair for Shell in Ukraine and led the company’s Energy Transition Program sponsored by its Executive Committee.
