Robert Garden

Robert Garden is an Of Counsel in CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP’s Energy & Infrastructure Planning team in London. Robert specialises in consenting energy and infrastructure projects and the promotion of compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) and development consent orders (DCOs), and has a particular focus on the promotion of hydrogen projects. Robert has contributed to Renewable UK’s Planning for Onshore Green Hydrogen Report, and has input to numerous consultation responses on national planning policy statements on hydrogen planning. Robert is currently advising on the promotion of a number of hydrogen projects across all chains of the hydrogen sector including production, storage and transportation. CMS have one of the UK’s largest specialist energy and infrastructure planning teams, and are ranked Tier 1 in Legal 500 for planning where Robert is recognised for on significant energy and infrastructure projects.
