Sara Bartle

Sara joined the REA in June 2023 as the policy lead for green gas and hydrogen. The REA is a trade association representing over 550 trade members. In her role, she supports members across the hydrogen and biogas sector, working with government to drive effective policy through consultations and various workshops. The role also involves participation in a number of forums, collaboratively working with colleagues in other trade associations. Sara spent the previous 15 years in the waste management sector working in both the private sector and local authority specifically in environmental and compliance roles.
